Just received the above. Ran yum update:

[mhr@mhrichter ~]$ sudo yum update

I've noticed this more and more over the last few months, especially
since 5.3 came out, and I'm wondering:

Are these announcements being sent before the mirrors are getting updated?

I know what's involved in releasing and announcing updates and such
(done that enough!), so I'm not complaining, but I am curious. The
last several of these I had to wait 6-8 hours or more before the
updates were yum-able.

Of course, it would be nice, from an end-user's perspective, if the
updates were available by the time the announcement went out, and ISTR
it used to be this way....

Anyway, to the CentOS team: great job of keeping us up-to-date,
especially on security issues. This is just a nit, of mine, no
worries....

Thanks!
