Anyway, looking at the SPEC files I noticed for iwl3945 and iwl4956 
firmware not the latest version have been used. Is there a good reason for 
it or just an oversight ?

If there is a reason we should state so in the SPEC file so people retain 
that information.

PS Are you sure you don't want RPMforge commit access ?
