I hope this bug is publicly visiblehttps://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=471193otherwise just yes, IMHO (and it is not official statement by RH Gecko developers) whole business of Firefox checking being a default browser is unhappy relict of Windows browser wars and it should be eliminated in the Linux FF altogether. I don't know if it happens though.
