 What network driver?

On-board port:
Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 13)

Driver:
sk98lin

Downloading the latest driver from Marvell and compiling it did the trick. It turns out that it was a driver issue.
