What happens when you do what the error message above asks you to do? When grub comes up, hit a key, then hit "a" to append something to the kernel command line and then add irqpoll to the end of the kernel command line. If that works, edit /etc/grub.conf and add "irqpoll" to the end of the kernel command line there. Ralph
