Yeah, this is one option I am looking at. How can I pass the username
to it from a windows printer though? If I could map the toplevel directory
of my private folders on the CentOS box from the windows fileserver, that
would be sweet. I already saw this but didn't see how it gleaned the windows
username from the user printing.

It gets the username from the user that is logged in on the windows box. The same way that your users can auth to a server and have a home directory.
