Your original post said 2GB, not TB.
Are you trying to boot from this device? Because you can't. Search the
list history for multiple posts about dealing with >2TB drives. The
highlights are:
a) You can't boot from it
b) You must use a gpt disklabel
c) You must use parted to partition it
