Hi again, If your camcorder connects to the computer through firewire, there is one caution: kino may not be able to see the firewire port under CentOS. This was for other reasons, but now that I know kino does not work on CentOS (with its firewire support), I cannot make the switch. Just wanted to give you some heads up.
