YES!!! That is it. Thank you. Reading this is MUCH better than listing to a radio interference analysis for Very High Throughput for IEEE 802.11 (goal is >1Gb rates)....

It's part of the initscripts package and on CentOS 5.2 it's in
/usr/share/doc/initscripts-8.45.19.EL/sysconfig.txt
