That can work to change configuration once a printer is setup. I am looking for the CUI that is used to setup a printer on the CentOS 5.1 system initially. The system-config-printer-tui that was mentioned is part of CentOS 4.4 but I cannot locate it for CentOS 5.1. Thanks for all the advice so far. -----Original Message----- From: centos-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:centos-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark Snyder Sent: Thursday, March 27, 2008 3:48 PM To: CentOS mailing list Subject: Re: Printer Configuration Mike Peterson wrote: > There used to be a CUI tool to configure printers from a server without X > running. > > Is there still that tool but renamed to something else? > > Or do you have to use VNC and X to remotely configure printers starting with > 5.x? > why not just use lpadmin to configure your printers??? > _______________________________________________ > CentOS mailing list > CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos > > _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
