finding configure prefixes for RPMs?

I would like to make a minor change in C and (re)compile a particular cgi file for a program that was originally installed via package. 

How do I find which configure prefixes were used on the RPMforge program I 'yum install'-d so that I can run the same command again when I run 'make' on the changed source code?
