Hi.... I have this CentOS 4.3 server that is used as a file, web and
mail server just for LAN hosts. After an up2date procedure (in wich
there was a lot of package involved.... about 500) I started having
problems with file shareing in samba server.
Normally, windows user authentificate through samba into the server
machine so they can access their home directory and other shared
folders, but now it is imposible. When a user try to connect to any
samba shared folder or home directory appears a "access denyed. Route
doesn't exist" message (no actual message, the original is in spanish )
or promt to connect as an Invited user, but no password, or the lack of
it, works.
I've checked samba configuration, and all seems to be ok.... no changes
in smb.conf file.
Please, help me.... i just don't know what to do.
Thanks everybody
PD: For the record. As a quick solution for user, I tell'em to access
their files by ssh through SSH Secure Shell File Transfer Tool (a
graphical file transfer tool for windows) and there is no problem.
