I can't understand why people choose an enterprise distro for it's
longevity,
and then proceed to try and break it. It is almost like buying a brand
new car
and then immediately replacing the engine.
it's a case of update-itis. In general the Linux community is partially
responsible due to historical development processes we've all become
accustomed to, but in most part MS is responsible for getting people to
believe they need to have the latest and greatest.
