Try to use something like:

$ cat ./NV_Linux_DRV_PKG_v1.23/RHEL5/source/Makefile
obj-m    := forcedeth.o sata_nv.o

KDIR    := /lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/build
PWD    := $(shell pwd)

default:
        $(MAKE) -C $(KDIR) SUBDIRS=$(PWD) modules
