I do see the DVD image on David Hrb��'s website which
I believe is in Czechoslovakia.  But was asking
whether there is a CD version and are the updates on
any the mirrors?

I suppose worse case scenario is he has all the fixes
is dealing with the download time, buying a DVD drive,
blank DVDs and reinstalling both boxes from scratch
with them.

Not the best case and was hoping to avoid that.

You can loop mount the dvd on another system and export that by http or ftp. There is a boot image on the dvd's that will let you boot from a cd and install that way.
