I am trying to trying to "./configure" NDOutils on a CentOS 4.4 box with a minimal install, but it gives me the following error, which I assume means I need something gcc-related? *********************./configure output ******************** ************************************************************** checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking for gcc... no checking for cc... no checking for cc... no checking for cl... no configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH See `config.log' for more details. ************************************************************** ************************************************************** I did a "yum search gcc" and found several packages that look like they might be what I need. I assume that it's "gcc-c++" that I need? (And for what it's worth, here is my config.log results) ******************** config.log ***************************** ************************************************************** ************************************************************** This file contains any messages produced by compilers while running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.
