If you will search the list archives, 3Ware has been recommended, many
times, in recent months, on this ML.
Sometimes, it's worth ordering from overseas and paying for shipment and
customs. I've ordered many things from the USA and it is incredibly rare
that something has arrived DOA, in the past 12 years. If it is DOA, then
you are without a warranty and in deep stuff.... Look into 3Ware!
