Thanks for your reply. I am using both rpmforge and atrpms, i have not until now had an issue. What is dkms and kmdl? Should i use one or the other in this case?

It seems you're mixing third-party repositories ... normally RPMForge
will provide dkms while atrpms will provide kmdl ... which repositories
are you using ?
