I was able to get the cups webpage up and it sees the printer I configured it up but when I try to print to it i get the following error: "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed", I've searched and searched but can't find anything that helps. I would like to try to install it outside of cups but it appears they only have a GUI to add a printer. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Not sure what the problem really is, so have to ask something obvious. Do you have ghostscript in place? foomatic-rip is a perl script. Is it pointing to the right directory for perl?
