Johnny has been doing a lot of hard work on the xfs stuff - you might want to 'try in a testing environment' the xfs mod's and usertools released in the centos developer's testing repo.
I really want to stress on the fact that it is a very much testing repo, and things have been known to break - do NOT use that in production.
