Hi all,
I am using centos 5. I need the screen to always be on.
I have gone into System -> Preferences -> Screen saver
and then I unchecked the "Activate screen saver when computer is IDLE"
setting.
I also edited the xorg.conf and commented out the dpms line.
However, my screen is still going into some kind of screen saver.
What else is there to disable?
Thanks,
Jerry

Specifically the reply from domino.
Additionally, per the xorg.conf and xset man pages, setting the option
BlankTime to zero may be required in addition to removing the DPMS line.
