There may be no need to rebuild the module, but doesn't it need to be
put in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/video for each new kernel?
i tend to use the /lib/modules/`uname -r`/updates/ directory for such
non-standard-ko's ... but yea, you need to move them along.
perhaps a yum plugin might be called for ?
