Re: no=acpi?

The problem i have is that i had to pass the command no=acpi to install suse, so how do I do this with centos.
I recall it was acpi=off
Just before installation you can type:

linux acpi=off


It was only needed for installation. Afterwards I could remove the option from /boot/grub/grub.info and the computer booted fine.


Or you can add it back if you run into stability issues.
