Hi, We have a server which seems to panic once a while. I was wondering does the stack trace make any sense to you. The server usually runs a week or more and then crashes. Here is all what we had on the server screen when it crashed (hope I didn't make any typos): CPU: 0 EIP: 0060:[<c0168380>] Not tainted EFLAGS: 00010297 EIP: is at do_pollfd [kernel] 0x20 (2.4.-47.EL/i686) eax: 00000001 ebx: 00000000 ecx: 00000286 edx: f7e18600 esi: b8000070 edi: 00000000 ebp: 00000000 esp: d5dbff1c ds: 0068 es: 0068 ss: 0068 Process java (pid: 20490, stackpage=d5dbf000) Stack: c012c000 00000000 00000000 99c87d00 00000000 00000000 c01684ff 00000001 b8000070 d5dbff50 d5dbff54 d5dbe000 d5dbe000 00000000 00000000 00000001 99c87d00 00000000 00000001 c01686e7 00000001 00000000 00000001 f7e18600 Call Trace: [<c012c000>] process_timeout [kernel] 0x0 (0xd5dbff1c) [<c01684ff>] do_pollfd [kernel] 0x19f (0xd5dbff34) [<c01686e7>] sys_poll [kernel] 0x1d7 (0xd5dbff68) [<c01269ab>] sys_gettimeofday [kernel] 0x3b (0xd5dbff9c) [<c028406f>] no_timing [kernel] 0x7 (0xd5dbffc0) [<c028002b>] compress_block [kernel] 0x6b (0xd5dbffe0) Code 8b 06 31 db 85 c0 78 47 e8 03 e1 fe ff 85 c0 89 c7 bb 20 00 Kernel panic: Fatal exception _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
