dovecot is at 1.0rc21 at the moment, so 1.0 has yet to come ...
But according to the mail list, the 1.x's are suitable for production
even with the rc designation where the .99's aren't. I've always
wondered why RH chose such an immature product at the time of the RHEL4
release. Maybe that says more about uwimap than dovecot, though.
