Others (php-something) are additional modules. If Cacti is not working, you are probably missing some modules. php-ldap is PHP LDAP module, and it is part of CentOS 4.4. Check Cacti documentation on which modules are required, than do yum list 'php*' to see what modules you have installed, and which are available on the installation server.
