I've pushed some testing kernels in dev.centos.org - but they are not
recommended for production use ( just the same way that nothing on
dev.centos.org is ) and might never get released! But upstream has been
quite consistent in adding more hardware support at regular intervals.

btw, do you have any bug report numbers with the details for your
problem on that specific hardware platform ?

Its not really a bug, the kernel which comes with the installer doesn't
support the hardware...
