Depends on your power supply. You will need a EPS12V power supply and
you will want to get a good one that provides clean power signals if you
want stability.

Yes, you can just plug the drive into the Tyan motherboard and just boot
up. Whether you get networking is another matter. I am not sure if
Centos 4.2 supports nforce lan.
