does anyone know of a work-around for using a Dell Perc2/DC scsi controller with CentOS 4.4?

per Dell's site, PERC2/DC - dual-channel add-in card, Ultra2 SCSI (aka AMI MegaRAID 467), and yes, those were dropped from the kernel as being too old.

http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2005-August/010021.html has a 'success' story, which references http://www.tuxyturvy.com/blog/index.php?/archives/4-Installing-RHEL4-on-Systems-with-Legacy-Megaraid-Drivers.html
