are a couple of other options for X Windows
yum groupinstall "X Window System"
yum groupinstall "KDE (K Desktop Environment)"
yum groupinstall "GNOME Desktop
Environment"
As it was a server install I figures you only
need the first one above.
As you probably want to do 'remote'
X
Don't forget to change initab to runlevel
