OK ... the problem here seems to be that you are trying to build something that is not included in CentOS (ruby-gnome). So, from what I understand, your goal is to get ruby-gnome to work ... and you are basing the fact that ncurses is broken on the output of this ruby-gnome build process. Is this correct?
