No yet - but vmware not on my laptop and that just locks up while
booting, will investigate further when I get 5 mins, just thought I
better send a cautionary out as two different machines with same
versions of Centos both went funny after a yum update.

have you raised the issue with vmware support ? what do they haveto say
about this issue ?
