[CentOS] New install, yum hung what to do

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I just build a new server and once I was able to log on, I did a yum -y update

The download (~100Mb) and updates all completed.

It is now in the cleanup and hung on 56/77 it has been on that entry for a couple hours.

How do I recover from this?

close terminal window, open new and then: yum clean ???

Should I reboot prior to the clean?
