Brings to mind the old quote attributed to Andy Tannenbaum - "Never
underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of nine-track tape."

The modern analog might be "Never underestimate the bandwidth of DVDs
[CDs] via the postal service." Might be better-faster-cheaper to deal
with somebody like http://www.frozentech.com/ or
http://www.rustystechstuff.com/ as opposed to downloading via telephone
modem.
