is apt/synaptic OK?

Apt development has started again, multilib support has been fixed. It 
also now has repomd support.

I have the new apt available from:

	http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/

These are tagged as test-packages, so you cannot get them automatically 
(yet). I have received very good feedback and i'm waiting for Panu to make 
a new release before I can replace the old ones.

I also patched synaptic to understand the repomd support that apt now has. 
So if you're using the new synaptic, you only require the new 
(currently test) apt to start using it.
