Installing CentOS-Sparc

That's strange.  Exectly same CDs worked perfectly for me.  Can you 
mount/read CD on some other box (for example PC running Linux or 
Windows)?  Can you read it on Solaris machine?

Another thing, are you sure you booted from the first CD?  If you burn 
images/boot.iso (from first CD), can you boot from that?
