My initial snooping confirms an issue with gigE unless you upgrade to 
bleeding edge drivers which seem to be scheduled for release in 2.6.16.  
I'm planning to use them as a workhorse with "multilane" 3ware cards and 
external tanks of lots of 500gig SATA drives.
