unsupported kernel vs. yum

This would happen IF you don't follow the advise that is here:

http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/centosplus/Readme.txt

Now ... if you do follow the advise and block reading kernel from the
[base] and [updates] repos then nothing happens :)
