custom centos CD

I've never used more than the 1st CD to install CentOS. I just uncheck 
everything when it asks what packages to install, and then do the rest of the 
setup with YUM. 

Has worked wonderfully for me. It may not be so effective for you if you don't 
have a broadband 'net connection.
