firefox-1.5.0.2-2.1.c4.centos.i386.rpm in testing -error message

firefox-1.5.0.2-2.1.c4.centos.i386.rpm in the testing
repo produces this error when running it as non-rrot
and also as root

Firefox could not install this item because
"install.rdf" (provided by the item) is not well
formed or does not exist. Please contact the author
about this problem. 

How to reproduce this message :- 

1. download and upgrade
firefox-1.5.0.2-2.1.c4.centos.i386.rpm from the
testing repo

2. erase the previous firefox 1.5.0.1 from centosplus
and install the new one. It still gives this error
message.

$ rpm -qi firefox
