Automounting Problems (CentOS 4.2 v/s CentOS 4.0)

It worked fine for me on 4.2, and is currently working fine on 4.3.
Are there any hints in your logs as to why it doesn't work for you?

Just to be sure, I tested again with a usb dvd drive and a lexar usb
thumbdrive, and they both work just fine.
