Thank you will do but when I tried 'yum remove rh-git218' to remove the SCL version prior to installing the IUS version, yum confirmed removing it but even so it does not seem to be removed, ie I can still run it and it still exists in /opt/rh/rh-git218/root/usr/bin/git.
What gives? I do not remember having had this problem before. I must have missed something when using 'yum remove' to delete a SCL package...
