I believe drm/drmP.h was removed from the kernel in the v5.5-ish era,
so I suspect that part of the kernel must have been backported to the
CentOS 8.3 kernels.
You'll need to update your code to use the new drm subsystem.
I believe the nvidia drivers had to do this too.
