I suggest you start by using the latest CentOS 7, 1810 (based on RHEL
7.6).  Anything older isn't supported and most likely won't work with
any 3rd-party kernel drivers.

Also, which wifi driver do you want?  There are many.  Try looking at
the output of 'lspci' to get hardware name.
