True. At some point postfix itself notices it, and reloads aliases into
itself if the file aliases.db is newer than what it has loaded in its
memory. It is just a habit I have forever to reload postfix after any
change I made including aliases (and I will not even argue that that habit
has value for aliases even on servers ;-)
