I have a Desktop system With both Centos 6 and Centos 7 on it, and
it works fine with my Ryzen 1700X cpu.

Centos 6 preexisten on the system before I upgraded it to Ryzen,
Centos 7 was installed with Ryzen. Never had any problems.
