Run 'gnome-session-properties', go to the 'Options' tab, and check
'Automatically remember ...'.
I don't use that setting, and I have no idea whether all applications
honour it. But it's worth a try.
Had a chance to check that today: while it remembers which programs were
running when the session was last ended (and I did have it checked), it
does not allow me to make sure terminal sessions or directory windows
which were minimized when I logged out are also minimized when I log in
next time.
Does anyone know if this is possible in Centos 6?
