Ah, I've seen that too. Not only does it remain there, it no longer
works, i.e., you can't open it, you can't kill it, it just sits
there, inert.

I'd like to see a fix for this also.


However, since Mate isn't an official Centos desktop, you'll probably
need to post a request with the EPEL maintainers.
