The distribution jwhosis.conf is hopelessly out-of-date. You can
retrieve an up-to-date one from:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jodrell/jwhois/master/example/jwhois.conf
hmm, i replace that .conf file and I still get...
$ jwhois 43.255.100.100
[Querying whois.v6nic.net]
[whois.v6nic.net: Name or service not known]
[Unable to connect to remote host]
do I need to compile it or something?
