Is it ok to skip /run/log/journal/ in backups

there is no directory /run/ on a stock centos system.

Which is included on a stock centos system.

/run is standard on CentOS 7. /var/run is a symlink to /run on that OS.

Sorry, yes, can files in /var/run/log/journal be skipped in backups?
